Tom Tunney, Senior Manager, University and College Programming at World University Service of Canada (WUSC) will provide an overview of international development and demonstrate the many benefits for student involvement including academic, professional, and personal payoffs. Mr. Tunney will provide information about the Students Without Borders™ internship program and explore ways that students can get involved both outside Canada and on-campus. He will also share stories about how he and students like you have been able to make a difference. |

Ethiopian dining comes in the form of thick stews served atop spongy sourdough pancakes called injera,which diners use to scoop up their food (silverware is available upon request). Enjoy a variety of dishes including doro wat (chicken), beef tibs, curry lamb, missir wot (red lentils), kik akitcha wot (yellow split peas), gomen (spinach), atkilt wat (cabbage, carrots, potatoes), and much more.
Tickets are only $25 (includes dinner, beverage, taxes and tip) and support a great cause! Your ticket will help to send 4 students this summer perform volunteer work in the developing world.
You can also support iCOP by purchasing RAFFLE TICKETS to win one of two gift certificates for www.kiva.org. Kiva is a non-profit that is revolutionizing the fight against global poverty.
